IMAP users:

We cancelled last night’s IMAP server upgrade as the process did not complete during the scheduled maintenance window.  It did not complete due to a sudden increase in email volume during the upgrade, primarily SPAM.  The spike in SPAM messages was unrelated to the scheduled maintenance.  Some of you may see a significant increase in SPAM in your inbox.  We are working to block the primary sources of this SPAM influx.

Please note that no email was lost, and although the SPAM increase was unexpected, we implemented a planned contingency rollback.

We will reschedule the IMAP upgrade for a future date.

If you have questions or technical issues please contact the help desk:

If you have comments or concerns please let me know.
