Changes to CoSINe IT Support on August 26, 2021

CoSINe has joined University Information and Technology (UIT). As part of this change we will be transitioning all customer service intake points for Cosine to the UIT Service Desk on Thursday, August 26. This will include phone calls, email, web forms, appointments, and walk-in support.

  • Phone calls to 541-737-5574 will be automatically forwarded to the Service Desk.
  • Emails sent to helpdesk@science.oregonstate.edu will be forwarded to the Service Desk.
  • You will notice that emails from the ticketing system (TeamDynamix) look somewhat different.
  • Tickets already in process by Cosine will be either migrated to the Service Desk ticketing system or completed in the Cosine ticketing system.
  • Walk-in support will be moved from Strand Ag to Milne Computer Center room 201 (just across the quad from Strand Ag and the Library).
