A change was made to our spam filter earlier this week that caused a lot of mail tagged as spam to be delivered to users' inboxes. The change was made in response to a user complaint that legitimate email was being blocked, but  the inadvertent consequence is the increase in spam delivery that is being reported by users.

An alternate strategy that should improve the rerouting of probable spam to users' junk folders is being implemented so users should see a significant drop in spam. Additional steps will be taken in coming weeks to improve the accuracy and flexibility of the CoS spam filtering system.
