Update 9:59AM

At approximately 9:45AM IT Infrastructure identified the source of the problem and disabled network access to the source. They are still identifying the root cause, but network service has been stabilized.

Update 9:55AM

Jon Dolan, Director of IT Infrastructure, has called with some updates. The root cause of the problem is still unknown, and the network is fluctuating up and down. Once it is finally resolved another update will be posted.

Cosine is receiving many calls about a network outage. It appears all network traffic leaving OSU is failing. No official word has been spread to Cosine, but we did hear it may be DDOS attack. Updates will be posted as we know more.
